Ben and Lauren’s unique, art-filled home was the perfect backdrop for their Colorado Springs engagement portraits. I love how well they dressed for these, but then again they’re a very sartorially savvy couple. (Check out art gallery owner Lauren’s gorgeous Louboutin heels!) I can’t wait to see her in her wedding dress. She’s going to look magnificent!

Sonja and Greg wanted dressy engagement portraits, so we went to the fanciest place in town: the Broadmoor! Don’t they look fantastic? I can’t wait for their Hillside Gardens wedding on Memorial Day weekend!
These Mueller State Park engagement portraits were a special treat for me to do. Samantha is a long time client and I’m very fond of her. I’ve been photographing her since she was a teenager! Over the years I’ve documented quite a few milestones in Samantha’s and her family’s lives, but I’m extra excited about this one: she’s engaged to a great guy! Their wedding is scheduled for next summer and I can’t wait! In October I spent a glorious, golden afternoon with Joe, Samantha and her daughter Izzy at beautiful Mueller State Park, taking their engagement portraits and a few family portraits to boot.
As far as big vistas go, it doesn’t get much more breathtaking than Mueller State Park. It’s one of my favorite places to visit, especially in October. I love this time of year and I love how these special portraits came out. I can’t wait for Samantha and Joe’s wedding at Mount Princeton Hot Springs. It’s going to be amazing!
What a sweet little family they make!
I took these sweet engagement portraits of Melanie and Ben at Belmar Park and the Lakewood Heritage Center about a week and-a-half ago. We did them at the end of the day, when the sun was slanting through the trees, creating a golden glow. Melanie and Ben are adorable together as you can see — there were so many great pictures of them, I had a hard time narrowing them down for this post! I’m really looking forward to their wedding next month at the Denver Public Library. It’s going to be wonderful!
Hot couple alert! Shery and Ken get all dressed up every year for a fancy annual event held by his employer. This year they decided to document their gorgeousness in a series of portraits at the Mining Exchange before heading off to the party. Wowza! Just look at them! They made my job easy!
