Christmas Family Portraits at Home

Christmas portraits at home

I made these fun Christmas portraits at the home of the extended C-M family exactly a year ago, on December 24th of 2021, so I thought it would be fun to share them today. We did them at Diane and Paul’s gorgeous, century old Craftsman house in the Old North End, and I thought it was pretty cute that they all had matching pajamas to wear for some of the pictures. By the way, Diane is a fantastic acupuncturist and Paul is a noted fertility specialist, so if you’re ever in need to either of those forms of medicine, get in touch with me so I can give you their contact info!
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it! I hope you have a lovely weekend filled with good times, good food, and good fellowship! 🎄

I have the nicest friends.

I know this has nothing to do with portraits or wedding photography, but I wanted to share this picture and tell you exactly how wonderful my friends are. I had an “ugly sweater” party a few days before Christmas and I asked all the invitees to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Care and Share, which is one of my favorite local charities. As you can see (please ignore my dirty car!), my lovely, kind friends really delivered! I was overwhelmed by their generous hearts and their truly, truly ugly sweaters. ;^) We had a really fun time — there was even a fashion show — and in the end, we all got that warm, fuzzy feeling of helping others and that hot, itchy feeling of wearing polyester next to our skin. Thank you, my wonderful friends! I love you!

Here’s a silly picture of Pat and me at the party, wearing our ugly sweaters. Soon it will be 2017. May it be a learning, giving year for all of us!
