I have so enjoyed getting to know Steve and Tiffany over the last few months, so when their wedding day at the Cliff House FINALLY arrived, I was super excited! I couldn’t believe all the rustic wedding details that they created for their special day (it turns out that Tiffany is REALLY good at this DIY thing!). The vibe was elegantly rustic. The whole day was laid back and personal, and I had such a wonderful time documenting it all. Congrats you two! Happy honeymoon!
Michael and Erin were planning a great big wedding bash next August in upstate New York, but when Michael’s grandmother’s health took a turn for the worse recently, they made an incredibly generous and sweet gesture: they moved their wedding date up by a year and they came here to tie the knot, so she’d be able to attend. Needless to say, it was a very emotional day for everyone (including me — I cried copiously along with everyone else!). It was also a perfectly gorgeous, patented Colorado kind of day, with golden sunshine and that glorious late summer haze. Magical. I so enjoyed documenting every moment of this special occasion. Congratulations Erin and Michael!
Happy 8th anniversary to Renée and Nat, married on August 4th, 2007 at the Craftwood Inn. Yes it rained, it rained a lot — but that didn’t put a damper on their joy! Happy day, guys!
On July 3rd of last year I documented a marriage proposal at the Broadmoor (to see those pictures, click HERE). Exactly a year later I was at the Broadmoor again, this time documenting a renewal of vows for a couple whose wedding I shot there a decade ago. Talk about full circle! I can’t believe ten years have flown by so quickly. So much has changed for Heather and Ray in that time frame (most remarkably, four gorgeous sons!), but what hasn’t changed is their strong love, support and admiration for each other. It was incredibly touching for me to be a part of this day, watching them profess their love for one another again, with their boys witnessing it all. What a wonderful day!
