From Chicago, Eileen and Jason dreamed of getting married somewhere beautiful. What’s more beautiful than the Cliff House at Pikes Peak? Even though they have no ties to Colorado, they decided that it would be the perfect spot to throw an elegant 1920s themed wedding, and they were right. Eileen actually started planning her wedding when she was five, as Jason joked during his touching toast, so not surprisingly every detail was perfect, just as she had dreamed it would be. It was a wonderful day! Congratulations Jason and Eileen!
I consider this lovely bride, Alli, to be a personal friend. We met a few years ago when she did some modeling for me, and I became quite fond of her! So when she and James found each other (her mom set them up on a blind date!), got serious, and then got engaged, I was so tickled that they chose me to be their wedding photographer. Of course their wedding at the Mining Exchange was perfection! I’ve never seen Alli so happy, and you can see by the way he looks at her that James is deeply in love. They make a great team, these two. What a wonderful day. So happy for you, Alli and James!
Just wanted to share a few pics of the gorgeous custom album I created for Kris and Deb’s wedding at the Cliff House last fall. I think it came out beautifully, and it will certainly be a treasure for them and their future children in the years to come. This is the time of year that I work on things like demo albums, and I feel the need to brag on this one because it’s just so beautiful! It’s from Marylou and Jim’s glamorous wedding at the Fine Arts Center (which you can see HERE) and I love how it came out. The album is a very generous 20″ by 8″, so when it’s opened and you’re viewing the pictures, it’s 20″ by 16″ — fantastic! I can’t get enough of this book and I hope you find it as gorgeous as I do!
