Breckenridge Brewery wedding :: Becky + Chris

Breckenridge Brewery wedding Littleton

Love love love this Breckenridge Brewery Littleton wedding! Chris and Becky’s love story started with friendship way back in high school. A couple of decades later they reconnected, and friendship grew into something much deeper. When they finally decided to tie the knot, they did their wedding with panache at the wonderful, rustic Farmhouse at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton. Chris is a rock guitarist and Becky is a music lover, so the theme for their big day was rock and roll, naturally! Becky and Chris are wedding photographers too (they’re the talent behind Black Forest Photography), so it was truly an honor for me to be the one who got to document their happy day. Congrats guys! Rock on!

Colorado Springs wedding :: Christina + Josh

Colorado Springs wedding photographers

This Colorado Springs wedding story is yet another sweet romance that started in high school. I just love a happy ending! Christina and Josh dated as teens and even went to prom together — how I’d love to see those pictures! — then a couple of years later they reconnected during their college years. In short, this celebration was the culmination of years of deep love and yes, enduring friendship. Their families were over the moon! And even though it sure looked like we were going to get dumped on, the rain miraculously held off and we even got some glorious afternoon sunshine.

Christina is not only beautiful and exceptionally smart (she’s a successful attorney), she’s also organized and has very nice taste. This is a bride who had visualized her wedding day since she was a little girl, and she made those ideas come to life at the Mining Exchange on the big day . I loved her sparkly flats, her long, looooooong veil, and the way she incorporated meaningful family heirloom jewelry into her ensemble. She also had her gown altered to eliminate the train, something I don’t see very often. It looked great! Meanwhile, Josh looked extra handsome — and tall — in his black suit and white tie. What a good looking couple they made!

This was such a sweet, sentimental celebration. You could feel the love at this dazzlingly wonderful Colorado Springs wedding! Congratulations Josh and Christina, what a fantastic day!

My newest demo album

My newest demo album is so pretty, I need to show it off! This is a parent album: ten spreads and twenty images in a very classic layout, and Rebecca and Kevin’s sweet wedding at the Cliff House was the perfect subject because her radiantly happy smile fairly jumps off the page. 🙂 I also ordered a custom presentation box to go with it. Love how it looks! Come by and see it sometime!

Johannes and Darshika’s multicultural backyard wedding

This backyard wedding in Colorado Springs was so different from my usual! She’s from Sri Lanka, he’s from Germany, and they met in a hot tub in Canada! Darshika and Johannes are some of the most interesting, educated and intelligent people I’ve met in a while. And extremely nice, too!

It’s technically a misnomer to call their celebration a backyard wedding, because they actually got married in the living room of their beautiful home in Black Forest, just northeast of Colorado Springs. There were a mere 22 guests, almost all of whom came from afar. And I mean REALLY far. I loved how Johannes and Darshika incorporated Sri Lankan and German traditions into their special day, and their families appreciated it too. It was such a lovely, intimate and laid back celebration! Congratulations Darshika and Johannes!

Cliff House wedding :: Kevin + Rebecca

wedding at the Cliff House at Pikes Peak

Kevin, Rebecca and their loved ones traveled all the way from Texas to celebrate their wedding at the Cliff House at Pikes Peak. It was such a lovely group of people, and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a more radiantly happy bride! Just look at that smile! I thoroughly enjoyed documenting this perfect day, surrounded by all that love and happiness!
