Mothers Chapel wedding :: Dania + Connor

Mothers Chapel wedding Garden of the Gods

The 2018 wedding season officially kicked off for me last Saturday with Dania and Connor’s tiny Mothers Chapel wedding in the Garden of the Gods. This is one of my favorite little churches, with its classic whitewashed clapboards and steeple. It’s so tiny and perfect for a small scale wedding like Dania and Connor’s. Their brief, emotional ceremony was strictly a family affair, which makes sense because the Mothers Chapel can’t hold more than about 15 people!

I love itty bitty weddings like this. I just do. It was so much fun for me just being a small part of this happy day, and I got some great pictures of this cool rock and roll couple! Congratulations, Connor and Dania!

Downtown Colorado Springs wedding :: Kelsey + Austin

downtown Colorado Springs wedding

The day may have started off a little bit gloomy and damp, but Austin and Kelsey’s downtown Colorado Springs wedding at the Mining Exchange, one of my favorite venues, ended up being sunny and perfect in every way. The clouds miraculously lifted just after the ceremony and we were treated to the most glorious, late afternoon sunshine. Classic Colorado!

Beautiful Kelsey is so tiny, she had to wear high, high platform shoes so Austin could kiss her without stooping. But although the may be petite, she’s mighty! As you can see from these pictures, she is extremely fit and strong. In fact, Kelsey’s somewhat of a a body builder and her well defined muscles looked fantastic in her strapless lace gown. Wow! She worked hard to prepare for her wedding, and it shows! Austin, meanwhile, is so clearly in love with her — it was just adorable the way he gazed at her when she wasn’t looking. The smile never left his face. They are such a cute couple.

I had such a blast covering this fun, family oriented, downtown Colorado Springs wedding. Kelsey has great taste, and her cheerful blue and yellow color scheme was perfect for a summer celebration. Wonderful, happy day, guys! Congratulations again and happy honeymoon!
