This, my friends, is a love story that started in junior high school! Angie and Jordan first met at church when they were adolescents, and though there was always mutual attraction they didn’t officially become a couple until college. But, as everyone at the wedding said, “Was there ever any question?”
Their wedding and reception took place at the Briarhurst on a rainy Saturday in late September. Though it was a little chilly and drizzly out, no one seemed to mind! Rain or shine, it was great to witness these two finally tying the knot.

Since they opted to do all their portraits before the ceremony, Jordan and Angie shared a little moment together first. This is his reaction upon seeing her in her dress for the first time.
Jordan’s mom, Candy, greeting her soon-to-be daughter in law.
I love this image of Angie chatting with the adorable flower girl, Elli.
As I was taking their portrait, Jordan and his brother Ryan spontaneously decided to jump in the air and high five each other. It was a Mentos moment.

Mere moments before she was to walk down the aisle, Elli had a fearful reaction to the sound of thunder…
But she soon regrouped and pulled off her role with style!

I love how they brought Maxwell up there to be with them for the kiss.
Clearly the little ones couldn’t wait to get their hands on the goody bags that Angie made for them!
Jordan surprised his new wife with a bagpiper.
Here’s Elli showing me her great writing skills (I think it says “BPEP PER” — pretty good for a four year-old eh!).
A little moment during the toast…
and a little moment after cutting the cake.
Just look at all the photo assistants I had that day!
