The Cliff House in Manitou Springs recently built a new addition to their facility; so recently, in fact, that they didn’t have any photographs of it. With a little help from my friends Alice and Mike, my boyfriend Pat, my assistant Allison, the staff at the Cliff House, makeup artist Pamela Johnson, and florist Rhonda Nichols, I created some images that show off the new Cathedral Spires Pavilion, as well as many of this beautiful venue’s other attributes. We approached this photo shoot like a real wedding. Alice and Mike were actually married about three years ago, and were gracious enough to volunteer to wear their own wedding clothes for the shoot — not to mention giving up a rare free Sunday afternoon. My boyfriend Pat “officiated” the “ceremony”, while my assistant Allison stood in as the “maid of honor”. Thanks everyone for all your wonderful help with this shoot — the pictures look great!
All of the “getting ready” pictures were done in the Crown Prince Ferdinand suite. Nice!
The beautiful floral designs were created by Rhonda Nichols.
Proof that I have the bestest guy in the world: Pat, who was exhausted from working all night, nevertheless showed up in a suit and tie to “officiate” the wedding. He looks pretty authentic!
