Couples Portraits in Downtown Colorado Springs

couples portraits in downtown Colorado Springs

I’m trying to catch up on the backlog of fun images I created last year but haven’t shared yet, so let’s start with Eric and Melissa’s cute couples portraits in downtown Colorado Springs! I love their style 🙂 They wanted some nice pictures for their Christmas card, but a couple of funny images too. Let’s just say they embrace the cheesy side of the 1970s. Ha! We started off in Monument Valley Park for their pretty pictures, then went downtown for the kooky ones. With puppies Lucy and Larry in on the action, it made for a super fun portrait shoot!

Colorado Springs portrait studios: the R family

[ family portraits in Colorado Springs ]

Say hello to the R family! Drew and Kelly are parents to a pair of adorable twin girls, B and K, who were just shy of their third birthday when we made these portraits last month. They are SO cute! As you can see, they’re not identical twins, and their personalities are distinctly different as well. I really enjoyed spending the afternoon documenting a day in the life of this sweet little family!

Could you say no to this sweet little face? Didn’t think so! ;o)

So cute! Love the curly hair!

They ordered a great big print of this one – it looks awesome!

Does Kelly look cold? ;o) She’s from Florida and can’t stand chilly Colorado temps!

These two met when Kelly was still in high school over ten years ago, and they’re still madly in love.

Couples portraits in Colorado Springs: Allison + Chris

[ Colorado Springs portrait studios ]

It’s been a while since I’ve shared any eye candy. Too busy with the holiday craziness! How about these portraits I did a few days ago of my cute assistant Allison and her boyfriend Chris? No, they’re not engaged! They just wanted some cool portraits of this moment in their relationship. We had a REALLY sunny, REALLY windy day, but we made the best of the conditions and got some great stuff. Thanks for letting me get creative, guys!

The camera looooooooves Allison.

We took this one as a joke. I told Chris that since he has a Porsche, he must pose for the traditional “proud Porsche owning gazing off into the distance” shot. Funny!

My favorite shot of the day. Allison looks great!

Mad reflector-holding skillz by Chris.
