It may seem silly that in June I’m posting pictures of people wearing overcoats, but that’s how behind I got in blogging last fall! Ha ha! I took these photos of the lovely Daugherty family in October, and you can’t tell but Bobbi was pregnant with baby #2 then. Guess what! I get to meet and photograph their new little stinker in a couple of weeks. It’s a boy! I can’t wait to show you the pictures I’ll soon be taking of him!
Emma Lynn’s birth story
My assistant and second shooter Joy had her baby on Wednesday! Lucky me, I got to photograph the birth, and it was a truly amazing, humbling and moving experience. I documented the late stages of labor, the delivery, and the joyful and chaotic moments that followed. It’s a girl! And her name is Emma Lynn! And she’s beautiful!

Colorado Springs maternity photographers :: Joy’s pregnancy portraits
This is my lovely assistant Joy, who had me do maternity portraits for her last weekend in downtown Colorado Springs. Her baby is due soon! If all goes well, I’ll have the honor of photographing her birth too. I can hardly wait!
