I’m having so much fun documenting this little peanut’s first year! I can’t believe how the time has flown since I did Kira’s newborn portraits. She’s so big now! Here she is at not quite seven months, in a portrait session we did just a few days before Christmas. Kira wins the internet for making adorable faces! Gah! So cute!
Happy New Year!
I received this incredibly nice message a few days ago from one of my past brides. Her husband is an Air Force fighter pilot and they’ve relocated a few times since the wedding. I can’t express how uplifting it was to get this random little love note out of the blue! I’ll let you in on a little secret: owning a business isn’t always easy. But I am reminded constantly, in big ways and little ways, why I chose this career. I want each and every one of my wonderful clients to know how much I appreciate YOU. Thank you for making 2015 a fun, crazy roller coaster ride, like every year! Thank you for trusting me to document your most important moments! Happy New Year to you and the ones you love. I hope your 2016 is, well, a fun, crazy roller coaster ride! Cheers! Tamera
Renewing their vows :: Heather + Ray
On July 3rd of last year I documented a marriage proposal at the Broadmoor (to see those pictures, click HERE). Exactly a year later I was at the Broadmoor again, this time documenting a renewal of vows for a couple whose wedding I shot there a decade ago. Talk about full circle! I can’t believe ten years have flown by so quickly. So much has changed for Heather and Ray in that time frame (most remarkably, four gorgeous sons!), but what hasn’t changed is their strong love, support and admiration for each other. It was incredibly touching for me to be a part of this day, watching them profess their love for one another again, with their boys witnessing it all. What a wonderful day!
After ten years and four babies, Heather’s wedding gown still fit perfectly.
Their three older sons participated in the ceremony while the baby slept.
A few images from their wedding, ten years ago:
