Super fun Prom 2022 photo shoot for Bridal Elegance!!! We did these in downtown Colorado Springs just a few days before Christmas. The models are all volunteers from local high schools, and don’t they look fabulous? You can get these gorgeous gowns and rent these cool tuxes all at the same place, Bridal Elegance on Academy Boulevard just south of Maizeland.

Here’s beautiful Ellory, who’s about to start her senior year. I’ve been friends with her mom Angela since I was Ellory’s age. Kind of hard to believe that I’m doing senior portraits for Angela’s kids now! In fact, this is the second kid — big sister Samantha came to me for senior portraits four years ago. Now Samantha’s a senior in college! How time does fly.

Behold beautiful Kate, who told me she wanted senior portraits that looked like an Urban Outfitters catalog shoot. She also told me that she loves nature, so we went to Red Rock Canyon and schlepped around for a bit, taking pictures here and there. She turned out to be an awesome little model! And look at those amazing blue eyes! I think she’d fit right into the latest Urban Outfitters catalog, don’t you?

This is Chelsea, a self-described nature girl. She asked for distinctly “Colorado-looking” senior portraits so I thought Palmer Park would be a good location. I had this vision of her posing barefoot in her prom gown on a precipice at sunset, and holy macaroni we pulled it off and then some! Chelsea really got into it, posing like a supermodel up there — fearless! We had a fun time and I thought her pictures came out great!

Here’s Chad, a really great kid. Straight A’s, a total brain, football star, motocross fanatic. Oh and he’s nice! We did his senior portraits around Colorado Springs a couple of weekends ago, and he brought his snowboard and dirtbike with him to pose with. I love that we got some dramatic light at the end of our session, it made the pictures even cooler.
