Margit’s Parent Album

A couple of months ago I delivered this beautiful parent album to one of my favorite longtime clients, Margit. Her daughter, Samantha, was married in July of 2018 at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, and Margit was so happy with the pictures, she ordered a full sized album for herself. I just love this family to pieces and was very, very excited to be the photographer for Samantha and Joe’s big day. Both their album and Margit’s came out just beautifully! Margit chose the pictures for this book, and I thought it was neat that she wanted the first spread to be comprised of Samantha and Joe’s engagement portraits at Mueller State Park. It looks great!

Another beautiful wedding album!

[ wedding photography in Colorado ]
You may remember this sweet little wedding I shot last year. Dave and Kathy, who are in their sixties, found love a second time around. It was so much fun getting to know them and documenting their big day. It isn’t often that I get a couple at this stage in their lives. These two were like teenagers! I’m happy to report that they are enjoying their new life together, doing lots of traveling and anticipating a new grandchild. I hope you enjoy looking at their album. I think it came out beautifully!

Kathy chose this bronze weave material for the cover. Isn’t it gorgeous?

For each of them, this was their second time down the aisle. It was very touching to see how giddy and emotional they were.

Dave and Kathy asked me to get a picture of everyone in attendance, so during the party I wandered around and literally asked every single person for a smile. Two and a half spreads of the album were devoted to these images of their friends and family.

Ashaley and Sean’s wedding at the Pinery in Black Forest

[ Colorado Springs wedding photography ]

I want to share some of the gorgeous albums I’ve been creating for my clients lately! Ashaley and Sean were married last year at the Pinery. She chose red for their album color, to match her bridesmaids’ dresses. The book is 10×10″ with a metal cameo featuring a romantic image of their first dance. The whole album is just lovely! They now have an heirloom to help them remember such a perfect day, and something truly meaningful to hand down to their children some day. :o)

I love the metal cameo — so modern!

Red leather makes such a nice cover material.

Look at Ashaley — so excited! This is moments before the ceremony, getting into her dress.

The album pages are thick and sturdy.

The kiss, immortalized forever. I love it!

Aalia’s baby book

You may remember Aalia from the portraits I did of her in December, when she was just 11 days old. Her parents, Aaron and Souheila, wanted a special keepsake of Aalia’s infancy as well as some special gifts for the grandmothers, so they ordered a custom 8×8″ linen album and two handmade trifold folios featuring their favorite images from the portrait sitting. The album is sage green and the folios are light plum and plum brocade, both with ivory ribbons. They’re gorgeous! I hope these photos do them justice! (Click on the images to see them larger.)
