I’m documenting Leo’s first year, including his first Christmas! These portraits were taken on December 28th. Leo’s multinational parents (American and Italian) filled their house with proud grandparents (and a great grandparent), aunties and cousins from around the world for this photo shoot, and everyone was eager to pose with the little superstar. Leo didn’t disappoint! Here’s a small handful of personal faves from our session.
Stephani’s Christmas portraits
This is my lovely friend Stephani, who wanted some sassy portraits to give to loved ones as Christmas presents. We had a really nice time in locations all over downtown taking these. It turns out that Steph is quite the supermodel!
Doesn’t she have the most amazing eyes?
Mia turns one!
Some of you may have been following Mia’s progress along with me over the last year, and I am happy to announce that she’s just celebrated her first birthday! Soon I’ll be designing her Baby’s First Year album and I promise to share it here. We did her final portrait sitting on a warm Saturday in October, a few days after her first birthday. We had a lot of fun and I hope Liz and Dan treasure these photos from Mia’s first year.

Welcome baby Leo!
This is Leo, who was six weeks old when we did these portraits a couple of weekends ago. Isn’t he adorable? His parents, Jennifer and Simone, are having me chronicle Leo’s first year in a series of four photo shoots (you can see their maternity portraits here). If you’re interested in a Baby’s First Year package, contact me at (719) 321-7990.
Congratulations Jen and Simo! Leo, I can’t wait for our next photo shoot!
Yes, he peed on the bed. But it was worth it to get this cute photo.
I love this picture. He’s so cute!
I just love how he’s looking at his mommy in this image.
The whole crew. A little tired, but extremely happy!
Avery’s parents are both teachers, and now she’s a senior at the high school where her father works. She was a blast to work with — throwing out the supermodel poses and the laser beam eyes! These were not retouched one iota. Her eyes really look like this and her skin just glows. Gorgeous girl! For her senior portraits, she asked for a field of flowers and some railroad tracks. We had one of those patented sunny Colorado afternoons going for us. It was just perfect for a senior portrait shoot.
