We chose Weidner Field and the Trestle District for our locations. Trey is such a cool kid! I love his neat car with its iridescent skin. This senior portrait shoot was a lot of fun!
Beautiful Karole came to me for flattering professional headshots recently. We did these using natural light rather than studio lighting, because she preferred a casual vibe and didn’t want them to look too “done.” I really like how they came out! In these pictures Karole comes across professional but relaxed and approachable — very much true to her personality — and on top of that she looks beautiful. Love these candid family pictures at Palmer Lake! J and L are actually friends of mine so this isn’t my first time photographing them. I haven’t had the pleasure of photographing little M since he was a newborn, which made this extra fun! J and L wanted the pictures to look natural and reflect their lifestyle (bloopers included), so they dressed casually and chose one of their favorite family hangouts for the location, Palmer Lake, as they live nearby. M has so much joyful toddler energy, it was a ton of fun capturing that for them. What sweet photos! Love them!
Beautiful Keila, who did a retro styled photo shoot with me as a Christmas surprise for her husband. Isn’t she glamorous? We shot these in a couple of authentically 1940s-1950s locations around Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. My neighbor Mike also kindly let us use his old Ford pickup as a prop, and it turned out to be such a great foil for her bright red outfit. I love how these turned out. Keila ordered a very cool 2023 calendar featuring her 12 favorite images from this shoot. Her husband is going to love it!
