Fashion Editorial for Safron Boutique

I did a great fashion editorial shoot this week with FANTASTIC clothes and jewelry from Safron, my favorite boutique in Colorado Springs. If you’ve never shopped there, I urge you to check it out! Speaking as someone who’s shopped in major cities like London, New York and Paris, I assure that Safron holds her own in little ol’ Colorado Springs. Her location is 2511 W Colorado, in the OCC.

Model: Kyra Fong
Hair/makeup: Thuy Unbehauen
Wardrobe: Safron of Manitou Springs

Colorado Springs fashion photography :: Delaney’s portfolio shoot

Colorado Springs fashion photography portfolio pictures

Delaney is a professional dancer, performer and model, and isn’t she gorgeous? She came in last month wanting to update her dance and modeling portfolio. We had fun shooting these fashion photos in my studio and various locations downtown. I love the results!

A modern-day Audrey!

photographer Colorado Springs

Have you ever wanted to be Audrey Hepburn, just for one day? Check out these fun portraits I did for a client who’s a big Audrey fan. The dress, tiara and cigarette holder are hers, but most of the other accessories are mine. I have an extensive collection of vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories, and it’s always fun when I get to use that stuff on a shoot!

I’m sure you’ve seen the original inspiration for this image! It’s classic!

In the opening sequence of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, Holly Golightly, after a night of partying, emerges from a cab in front of Tiffany’s. She holds a paper sack containing her breakfast, which she eats while gazing into the shop windows. You can see a still from that sequence HERE.

This image was inspired by a 1953 publicity photo (HERE) from the film “Sabrina”. The client brought her own 1950s-era black phone.
