Remember the multigenerational family portraits at 17 Mile House Farm that I shared a while back of the Ziccardi family? (If you missed that post, you can find it HERE.) This is the final product from that session: an heirloom album of the best shots of the day. It’s gorgeous!
Mother-Daughter Portraits at Palmer Park
Lori and Jaylin wanted some relaxed, casual, mother-daughter portraits at Palmer Park, which turned out to be the perfect location to showcase the natural beauty of Colorado Springs. It was a glorious day for picture taking — sunny and a little breezy. I had a lot of fun working with them and I love how the pictures turned out! Look how gorgeous these two women are! Not to mention Palmer Park, which is one of my favorite spots for portraits. Thanks Lori and Jay, it was nice hanging out with you and capturing these nice pictures of you both!
Belmar Park family portraits
Will you look at this sweet family?!? As you can see, Amy and Tyler are working on baby #3, and he or she is due to arrive later this month. We did these portraits last month in Belmar Park to document Amy’s beautiful belly, but also to capture this moment in time before they become a family of five. Watch this space for newborn portraits when their littlest decides to join us!
Kira’s First Year album
Am I good about taking pictures of the lovely, custom albums I create for my clients? Yes. Am I good about sharing those pictures? No! I’m terrible, actually! I admit it! Here’s a sweet album I delivered months ago. I documented Kira’s first year from baby bump on, and it was so much fun watching her grow. Designing the album is always bittersweet, and handing it over to my clients even more so. But I know that this book will become more and more of a treasure to them over the years, as Kira starts school and grows tall and learns to drive and goes to college. Babyhood is a mere blink of an eye. I’m so glad to be able to capture these sweet moments for my clients!
Kira turns one!
I’ve been documenting Miss Kira’s first year, starting when she was only a few days old, and now she’s ONE! How can this possibly be? And how could she possibly be any cuter?!? It just kills me when toddlers do that wobbly walk. Gaaaah! So cute! Kira has developed an adorable personality, she laughs, smiles and chats constantly (but when she has her “serious” face on, it melts your heart too), and she has her parents, Amy and Tyler, completely wrapped around her finger. I’ve so enjoyed photographing her over the last twelve months. Here are some of my favorites from her official One Year portrait session. Adorable!
