Snowy Engagement Portraits
It seems that the crazier the weather here in Colorado Springs, the more potential for dramatic photos, so to create Emily and Michael’s magically snowy engagement portraits we braved a frigid but spectacular 7° day in Ute Valley Park and the Garden of the Gods. So beautiful! It was truly very cold, so we ran back to our cars periodically to warm up (no fingers or toes were lost in the making of these pictures). I love Emily’s emerald green velvet dress — her favorite color — and oh my, that ring! Great job choosing it, Michael! I love how these pictures turned out and I appreciate how willing Emily and Michael were to tough it out for a few minutes at a time and capture some unique and snowy engagement portraits!
Maternity portraits :: Eboni + Michael
I did Eboni’s high school senior portraits about nine years ago, and we’ve stayed in touch since then via Facebook. I was over the moon when she contacted me to do maternity portraits for her and her husband, Michael. I don’t know who’s more excited about this baby, me or them! We did a few poses at my studio, then headed to Ute Valley Park for the rest. Look how adorable they are! They’re going to have such a beautiful baby!
