Rocky Mountain National Park is an especially wonderful location for engagement portraits, don’t you agree? Liz and Michael are planning on getting married in September in Golden, and I for one can’t wait. We did their engagement pictures in early March at RMNP, one of their favorite places, and it was a perfect, sunny, early spring day in the park. Just gorgeous!
Just wanted to share these beautiful senior portraits in Old Colorado City that I made of Mary, whose family has come to me for years for their photography needs. In fact, Mary is their FIFTH high school senior, and there’s still one to go! (Henry, see you next year!) We also drove to the Manitou Springs Penny Arcade for a few fun shots. Isn’t she pretty? I think so! 
I did a great fashion editorial shoot this week with FANTASTIC clothes and jewelry from Safron, my favorite boutique in Colorado Springs. If you’ve never shopped there, I urge you to check it out! Behold Miss Fiona! We did her senior pictures in Monument Valley Park and Arts Alley downtown in late September. Love all of these, even her patented teenage attitude in some of them! I think your senior portraits should reflect your personality and style as much as possible, so it’s great that she wore a Nirvana t-shirt, which also happens to be one of my favorite bands — that’s a girl after my own heart!
Say hello to Sarah! She’s a life coach and we took these portraits for use in her promotional materials and on her website. It was important to Sarah that the images telegraph both her individuality and her shamanistic approach to healing. We did the indoor photos at the Red Crags Inn and the outdoor ones in beautiful Cheyenne Canon. Sarah brought a variety of clothes and accessories to try out, including a striking crimson sari. I think we succeeded in creating some very unique marketing images for her, and at the same time I made an interesting new friend, which is always awesome! Sarah has a warm and truly caring personality, not to mention a thought provoking and evolved perspective on just about anything.
