Super fun Prom 2022 photo shoot for Bridal Elegance!!! We did these in downtown Colorado Springs just a few days before Christmas. The models are all volunteers from local high schools, and don’t they look fabulous? You can get these gorgeous gowns and rent these cool tuxes all at the same place, Bridal Elegance on Academy Boulevard just south of Maizeland.
Some nice and casual senior portraits here of Evan, who just graduated from Coronado High School. (I took these last September, but I’m way behind on sharing!) Great smile on this kid! Great hair, too 
We did all of these just roaming around downtown, and his mom Shelly joined us for the fun of it. There are a ton of great locations downtown — I especially like Arts Alley. Everyone looks great in Arts Alley! His mom loved the pictures so much, she ordered a large print and an heirloom album. Evan, thanks for a fun, low key afternoon! Some romantic couples portraits of Sorcha and Jack taken in Red Rock Canyon Open Space in Colorado Springs a couple of months ago. Good looking couple! If you’re one of my wedding clients and Sorcha looks familiar, it’s because she has been second shooting for me all year. I thought it’d be nice to thank her by taking these pictures of them, and Mother Nature cooperated by providing us with perfect golden light for a few amazing minutes. Fantastic!
I made these fun engagement portraits in Palmer Park for Athena and Eric last fall. The thing I love about these two — and anyone can see this after spending 60 seconds with them — is how much they enjoy each other’s company. They love to laugh! I am very much excited for their wedding this summer! It’s going to be so much fun!
Another sweet marriage proposal in the Garden of the Gods! Auston and Kara came to Colorado Springs this month for a vacation with friends. Little did Kara know that everyone was in cahoots with Auston’s secret plan to propose to her! The four of them went to the Garden of the Gods ostensibly for a picnic, and Auston convinced Kara to walk up the trail a bit while their friends set out the food. My second photographer Joy and I were waiting in a preordained spot, and as soon as they passed us, Auston dropped to one knee and popped the question. It was awesome! Of course Kara said yes, and her reaction to the big moment was priceless. She was so shocked and happy! Afterward we took a few posed pictures to commemorate their newly engaged status. What a cute couple!
