David Tutera wedding gowns fashion show in Denver!
Yesterday was a lot of fun! What a great way to kick off 2015! David Tutera, fabulous event planner known for his utterly addicting TV show “My Fair Wedding”, and his new show “David Tutera’s CELEBrations”, was at the Curtis Hotel in Denver to show off his line of gorgeous wedding gowns. He also unveiled his new line of men’s formal wear (which was awesome), and afterward he personally greeted and posed for pictures with his many, many fans that showed up for the event. That’s me with him in the photo above, taken backstage — it was a treat to meet him, since I’m a big fan too! He is just as gracious and nice as you would imagine from seeing him on TV. By the way, the only place in Colorado where you can buy David Tutera wedding dresses is here in Colorado Springs, at Bridal Elegance. Terry and her crew from Bridal Elegance worked tirelessly to put together this great fashion show, so enjoy the pictures! (And there are many more on my Facebook page if you want to see more!)

Goth themed fashion editorial shoot
I’ve certainly been doing a lot of fashion photography in Colorado Springs lately, and have had no time until now to share some of it here on the blog. This is a goth themed editorial I shot on December 14th, featuring clothing from Terra Verde and Bridal Elegance, with accessories from Zeezo’s (look at those incredible wings in the photo above!). The fantastic makeup concept was created by Pamela Johnson, who is such a pro. I love working with her. The models are Christina and Kiersten, who gamely froze half to death on a VERY chilly day in the name of art! Most of these were taken on location in Colorado Springs, with a handful done in my studio. Enjoy!

Shopping for a wedding dress
Do you ever watch that show “Say Yes to the Dress”, where brides pick out the perfect gown for their big day? I have to admit that I think I’ve seen every episode! I had the chance to do some wedding dress “shopping” myself recently, as I’m planning on doing a 1950s styled bridal shoot this Friday at the historic Pioneers Museum and I needed some gowns! The wonderful Terry Ortega and her staff at Bridal Elegance, a wedding boutique in Colorado Springs, were so generous and helpful! I stopped in with my model, Christina, and they already had several dresses pulled for us. All of them were gorgeous, but we were able to narrow it down to these three. What do you think? I can’t wait for Friday!
Colorado Springs boudoir photography: boudoir marathon at the Cliff House!
Voilà, a few favorites from last weekend’s boudoir marathon! (These are selections from a few different sessions, but since I am very careful to abide by my clients’ privacy wishes, I can’t always show faces.) If you’d like to have photos like this of yourself or your sweetie, contact me at (719) 321-7990! Enjoy!
