I’m working on an Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel wedding album design today, and I thought this picture was so cool it was time to share it! I rarely use my fisheye lens, but this perspective is perfect for it. Just a little reminder of how awesome it is to shoot weddings at the Cadet Chapel! :^)

I did this fun, 1950s retro styled wedding shoot last week in collaboration with the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, Rhonda Nichols Floral Design, Sportique Scooters, and Bridal Elegance, a wedding boutique in Colorado Springs, with hair by Judy Marble and makeup by Rachel Barker. We created some fabulous images and had a great time!

Just delivered this beautiful album from Eric and Shannon’s Manitou Springs wedding. It’s 20 spreads that flow together perfectly to tell the story of their day. I love it! Happy anniversary to two of my favorite people, Morgan and Mark, who were married at the Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel on this date in 2011! I can’t believe it’s already been three years!
Shopping for a wedding dress
Do you ever watch that show “Say Yes to the Dress”, where brides pick out the perfect gown for their big day? I have to admit that I think I’ve seen every episode! I had the chance to do some wedding dress “shopping” myself recently, as I’m planning on doing a 1950s styled bridal shoot this Friday at the historic Pioneers Museum and I needed some gowns! The wonderful Terry Ortega and her staff at Bridal Elegance, a wedding boutique in Colorado Springs, were so generous and helpful! I stopped in with my model, Christina, and they already had several dresses pulled for us. All of them were gorgeous, but we were able to narrow it down to these three. What do you think? I can’t wait for Friday!
