Been meaning for ages to share pictures of this gorgeous album I custom designed for K&M’s wedding at Monument Valley Park and the Craftwood Inn! The album is 9×12″, with 22 spreads. The wraparound photo cover has a luxurious brown leather binding. What a beautiful memento and heirloom for them!
I always love doing a wedding at the Cliff House. It’s so beautiful there! D&J’s wedding was small scale — fewer than 25 guests — but big on style. Everything about it was perfection. The sun even made an appearance for me just as we were wrapping up the romantic wedding portraits at the Manitou Arcade. Hooray! D&J are so in love, and it really shows in the pictures. Such happiness!

Just delivered this beautiful album from Eric and Shannon’s Manitou Springs wedding. It’s 20 spreads that flow together perfectly to tell the story of their day. I love it! I thought it would be fun to show off some of my favorite bridal portraits I’ve taken over the last few years. Look at all these phenomenally beautiful women! I am so lucky to always have the loveliest brides, inside and out. There were a lot of portraits when all was said and done (and even so, I couldn’t possibly post one from every wedding), so I’m breaking this series up into two posts. Enjoy!
You probably don’t need to be reminded that it rained A LOT in Colorado this year, and this lovely, lovely Craftwood Inn wedding took place right smack in the middle of that catastrophic week — you know, the one where half of our state ended up underwater. And yet Mother Nature smiled benevolently on us and let off the rain almost exactly on schedule for Shannon and Eric’s outdoor wedding ceremony at the beautiful Craftwood Inn in Manitou Springs. Miracle! I had complete faith that the rain would stop, and it did. It truly was the most wonderful day, unpredictable weather and all. So many of their loved ones came from all over, and you can see the happiness radiating from these two! Congratulations Shannon and Eric, it’s been such a great pleasure!
