I delivered this gorgeous, heirloom album to Shelby and Christian a couple of weeks ago from their Garden of the Gods Club wedding. It’s 9×12″ and twenty custom-designed spreads. They loved it! And since they’ve officially started a family, Christian and Shelby have something truly special to hand down to their children now. How wonderful!

At their gorgeous Garden of the Gods Club wedding, Alicia and Ross didn’t just join hearts on Labor Day weekend, they merged together two happy families. Between them, they have eight beautiful children! Alicia is so tall and beautiful, and Ross is so tall and handsome, they certainly make a striking couple and they made my job easy. But beyond that, their strong commitment to their eight children and to one another was on full display that day.
This was a meaningful, joyful and laid back celebration at the Garden of the Gods Club with their nearest and dearest there to cheer them on. What an unbelievably sweet wedding. Lots of smiles and happy tears. (I cried too!) Just perfect! All the best, Ross and Alicia! Congratulations and happy honeymoon!
I so enjoyed documenting this intimate Hillside Gardens wedding in Colorado Springs! Bill, who is a friend of mine, and Kelly, whom I’m just getting to know (and already adore), had a morning ceremony with a grand view of Pikes Peak for their backdrop. Afterward, they celebrated it all with a backyard reception at a good friend’s home on the west side.
Bill’s a fairly inscrutable guy but he sure smiled a lot that day, and Kelly was downright radiant. Just look at her! Beautiful, perfect Hillside Gardens wedding and the cutest couple ever! Congrats you two!
Shelby and Christian’s wedding at the Garden of the Gods Club was simply a perfect day! This was not just a happy blending of families, it was also a blending of two cultures: Filipino and American. I love shooting Filipino weddings because I’m half Filipino myself, and it’s nice to hear that particular accent and way of speaking. It reminds me of home and family.
Though it was love at first sight, Christian and Shelby’s relationship has had a six year gestation period, so friends and family were thrilled to gather for this joyous occasion. Shelby was simply stunning in her 1930s-styled gown. This wedding at the Garden of the Gods Club was everything they had hoped for, and the reception at the Briarhurst Manor was bumpin’ too! Everyone had a blast, including me. Congrats Christian and Shelby! What a fun day!
This Cliff House Colorado wedding was so, soooo stylish! I loved the 1920s, Great Gatsby theme. I’m a big fan of that era, so I was tickled to have a bride who was so visually inspired by the 1920s.
From Chicago, Eileen and Jason dreamed of getting married somewhere beautiful. And what’s more beautiful than the Cliff House at Pikes Peak? Even though they have no ties to Colorado, they decided that it would be the perfect spot to throw an elegant wedding, and they were right. Eileen actually started planning her wedding when she was five, as Jason joked during his touching toast, so not surprisingly every detail was just right, just as she had dreamed it would be. And all of their loved ones really enjoyed their time in Colorado, especially the views from the Garden of the Gods. Even their labradoodle got to enjoy the scenery during the portrait session with Pikes Peak in the background!
It was a wonderful day and a perfect Cliff House Colorado wedding! Congratulations Jason and Eileen! Happy honeymoon!
