I don’t do that many seniors, which I think is a good thing because when I do get the privilege, I’m more creative with my ideas. I did these fun senior portraits of Lucas several months ago (I know, I’m a little behind on blogging) in La Jolla, California. His mother commissioned me to do family portraits at La Jolla Cove, and on the same day do Lucas’s senior portraits. What a great location! They actually live in Phoenix, so this was a change of scenery for all of us, and we had a really fun time. Now Lucas is about to graduate from high school. I’ve been photographing him since he was a little guy, so it was a great pleasure to be able to make these special portraits for him and his mom. (He’s so tall now!) Go Lucas! You’re going to do great things!
I shot my first wedding of 2016 on January 1st, and my last one is this afternoon, December 31st. It’s been an amazing year! I also did tons of portraits: newborn babies, families big and small, couples, high school seniors, and even a dog or two! Here are my best images of the year, month by month. If you’re one of my lovely clients and you don’t see your picture here, don’t feel bad. I chose my best images of the year for this list, not my best clients! (You’re ALL the best!) Not counting yesterday’s wedding and the one I’m doing later today, I delivered 6,840 wedding images and 1,181 portraits in 2016, not to mention all other jobs I did, like head shots, commercial work and fashion stuff! Needless to say, it was tough narrowing all of that down to just 12 images! Enjoy!
I did this fun shoot for Bridal Elegance last Tuesday, featuring dazzling prom fashions modeled by teenagers from local high schools. Oh and a couple of cute puppies too! We did these in various locations downtown, and everyone did great! Just look at all these gorgeous kids! We had so much fun!
You can see more photos from this shoot on my Facebook page HERE. All of these gorgeous prom dresses, jewelry, tuxes and more can be found at Bridal Elegance and Gentlemen’s Choice Tuxedos, 2415 N Academy Blvd, in Colorado Springs (website and map HERE).
