The second half of my Gorgeous Brides series. These are some of my favorite bridal portraits that I’ve done in recent years. Aren’t they all lovely?!? I think so!
Colorado Springs wedding photographer: Gorgeous Brides! (Part 1)
I thought it would be fun to show off some of my favorite bridal portraits I’ve taken over the last few years. Look at all these phenomenally beautiful women! I am so lucky to always have the loveliest brides, inside and out. There were a lot of portraits when all was said and done (and even so, I couldn’t possibly post one from every wedding), so I’m breaking this series up into two posts. Enjoy!
2013 Year-End favorites
Just a small sampling of some of my personal favorite from the past year. I could have posted many more, but pulled the plug at 41. Many, many thanks to all my lovely clients. It’s been nothing but a pleasure to be a small part of such important moments! Happy New Year!
Sheldon Jackson Chapel wedding: Susan + David
My last wedding of the year couldn’t have been sweeter. I love their story: Susan and David knew each other in college but weren’t romantic, and reconnected years later on Facebook. One thing led to another, and we found ourselves at the historic Sheldon Jackson Chapel in Monument, Colorado on a snowy November Saturday as these two lovebirds tied the knot! The ceremony was even more special because David’s dad, Devere, officiated. Afterward, family and friends gathered at David’s parents’ comfy home for a delicious home-cooked meal. It was absolutely lovely. Congratulations Susan and David, it was the best!
Yes, these are foosball figures! It’s an inside joke between Susan, David and their friends. I thought it was hilarious! What do you think of the “bride”? ;^)
Susan and her entourage got ready at the Broadmoor.
Susan’s son escorted her up the aisle.
The classic “cake topper” pose — I thought it would be apropos, since the Sheldon Jackson Chapel has such a sweet, old-fashioned ambience.
Susan was glowing with happiness!
This is literally everyone that was at the wedding. I love it when I can get a fun group shot like this!
A great shot of Susan with her oldest friend, Erin.
Destin, Florida wedding :: Brooke and Mike
What can I say about Brooke and Mike’s intimate, laid back wedding at Henderson Beach? It was so casual, the only person wearing shoes was me! The rain held off while the rain clouds gave us the most soft and beautiful light. And the sand was as white as sugar. Beautiful location, perfect wedding! What a fun, fun day. Brooke and Mike, congratulations!
